Thank you Wegmans and Market Basket!
Worcester Homeless Action Committee would like to thank Wegmans Super Market 7 and the Market Basket for their support of our food drive.
The WHAC Discharge Planning Guide is a compilation of housing programs and resources available state-wide in Massachusetts for people exiting institutions such as jails, prisons, or hospitals.
Support our work by volunteering to help on our advocacy agenda or on one of our special annual projects. Currently, WHAC is working to introduce restorative justice to the criminal justice system, to maximize energy efficiency in shelter buildings of members, and to support the creation of drug courts, so addicts receive treatment.
If you would like to become a member or donate, simply send us an email, and we will send you regular updates on how to get involved in improving the lives of central Massachusetts’ estimated 3,000 homeless.
