The WHAC Discharge Planning Guide is a compilation of housing programs and resources available state-wide in Massachusetts for people exiting institutions such as jails, prisons, or hospitals.

Our Campaign

The Worcester Homeless Action Committee (WHAC) is reviving its campaign to inform the general public on the issues of homelessness in Worcester and to find sustainable housing solutions.

This fall we are focusing on Worcester’s municipal elections drawing attention to housing and homelessness and forcing candidates to take these issues seriously and put them back on the city’s agenda.

WHAC is also working to rebuild our membership base and have a strong group of people in the city who are concerned, aware, and will take action.

There are many ways you can support the campaign! You can write to your local legislators in support of our endorsed bills, attend our monthly meetings, and donate.
